Tracey Shield is a Singer, Songwriter and Actress, originally from Coventry in England.

Tracey grew up singing & dancing, inspired by huge vocalists like Barbara Streisand & Celine Dion. From a young age it was clear that Tracey was born to be a performer, stealing the show in many roles including Fastrada in Pippin, Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street & Betty Rodgers in The Will Rogers Follies with the Coventry Youth Operetta Group. Tracey stayed with YOG until the age of 22, performing in over 20 productions.

Tracey was then offered the lead vocalist in various top UK showbands, namely 'The Poptarts', 'Car Wash' and 'Blame It On The Boogie', performing 70's disco / funk. In September 1995 she became a Butlins Show Red, performing several shows during the day and a two hour spot in the evening and at various holiday centres throughout the UK. Whilst at Butlins, Tracey was lucky enough to appear at the London Palladium in 'The Billy Butlins Story' alongside Alvin Stardust and directed by Dougie Squires, performing the lead female role of 'Lady Sheila Butlin'. She appeared on the Sky TV's children's' show 'Boiled Egg & Soldiers'. The Disney Channel also filmed her performing a solo song from 'The Billy Butlin Story'.

In October 1996, Tracey left Butlins and flew to Benidorm, Spain where she took part in a production show, performing six shows per week including 'West End And Beyond' - a show dedicated to the West End and Broadway Shows. She also performed in a 50's and 60's Rock 'n' Roll show and an 'Old Time Music Hall' show, where her party piece was a tribute to Gracie Fields.

In addition, Tracey joined a 2 year touring show performing songs from Celine Dion, Babara Streisand, Cyndi Lauper, Spice Girls, Dolly Parton and Abba, amongst others. In October 2000, Tracey got a taste of stardom after winning her heat of “Stars In Their Eyes” on ITV performing as Celine Dion, coming 3rd Overall in the Grand Final with 131,000 Votes. Since filming the show Tracey has developed her own show "An Evening with Celine Dion' which she has performed to thousands of audiences all over the world.​

In 2007 Tracey went into the studio and recorded her first album 'What You're Made Of' which was an album of cover songs. She then decided to write some of her own music for her second album '2' in 2014.

In November 2016 Tracey decided to go back to her classical theatre roots, and appear in '4Play Productions' performance of 'Into The Woods' as the Witch at The Belgrade Theatre in Coventry.


Tracey is excited to announce the release of her third studio album, which has been produced by GingerDog Records.
