Cate Mellor

Cate Mellor has been a professional singer and recording artist for over 20 years having recorded several albums and many educational music books for Schools. Away from the recording studio Cate has performed at some memorable locations over the years including The Manchester Opera House, Swan Theatre Stratford Upon Avon and in 2013 the O2 Arena. For twelve years she had the privilege to perform as one of the prestigious Ladyes Of The Courte Of Coombe in the Award Winning Mediaeval Banquets, Dinners and countless Weddings at Coombe Abbey which resulted in many film and TV appearances (least notably Dial A Date in 1999!!!!). On the stage Cate has played many principal roles in some of Musical Theatre’s finest shows including; Julie Jordan (Carousel), Lady Thiang (The King & I), Guenevere (Camelot), Florence Vassey (Chess), Mabel Stanley (Broadway Pirates Of Penzance), Mary Magdalene (Jesus Christ Superstar) Laurey Williams (Oklahoma), Rapunzel (Into The Woods), Lilli Vanessi (Kiss Me Kate) and most memorably as Mummy Bare in Jack and His Stalk!!!! She is currently the Musical Director for Wilson Roberts Friends in Stratford Upon Avon and The Guildhall Operatic Society in Coventry.
Away from the performing and recording arena Cate has been a Vocal Coach for fourteen years and in 2005 became Centre Director for Theatretrain Coventry which provides Theatre Arts training to young people aged 6-18, allowing them the opportunity to perform in such iconic venues as the London Palladium, Theatre Royal Drury Lane and the Royal Albert Hall.

Paul Barker

Paul Barker started singing at the age of 10 and spent much of the seventies touring as lead singer with the bands Hollywood and Nice Day. He has sung consistently on stage ever since in a variety of productions both nationally and locally. Renowned for his versatility as a singer, Paul has performed in many classic and diverse musicals including Billy Bigelow (Carousel), Alfie Doolittle (My Fair Lady), Curly McLain (Oklahoma), Fred Graham (Kiss Me Kate), Emile De Becque (South Pacific) and the Tramp (Little Shop of Horrors). Paul is never far from the performing arena and can be seen regularly in concerts singing all forms of music for pop to classical.
Away from the stage Paul has featured on many albums for Kevin Mayhew Publishing where he initially cemented his artistic relationship with Kevin Duncan and hopes to carry this success forward with Gingerdog Productions.
